By using Akebi, you agree to these terms. Akebi is a format-preserving DOCX translation tool: it separates document text from layout, sends the text through a chosen translation path, and rebuilds the file for download. You remain responsible for the documents you upload, the language model you choose, and how you use the translated result. If these terms do not work for you, do not use the service.

Acceptable use · 利用条件

• Do not upload documents containing PII, meaning personally identifiable information.
• Do not translate copyrighted content unless you have the right to translate it.
• The demo tier is rate-limited to 1 document per day per IP and 5MB maximum. Abuse may result in a ban.
• On the BYOK tier, your API key is your responsibility, including provider rate limits and cost.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or bypass the worker.

No warranty · 無保証

• Translation quality depends on the chosen LLM; Akebi does not guarantee accuracy.
• The service is provided as is, with no SLA or promise of availability.
• Akebi is not liable for translation errors, lost documents, or downstream consequences.
• Use Akebi for important documents at your own risk, and always proofread before relying on output.

MIT license, governing law · MIT・準拠法

• The code is MIT licensed: github.com/nightskat/docshift-core.
• Disputes are governed by the jurisdiction of nightskat in Vietnam; Vietnamese law applies.
• These terms may change. Continued use of Akebi after changes means you accept the updated terms.
